Unusual indeed... my copy of Gish is fully registered and the Gish editor is put directly in the Gish folder. I got it from GarageGames, could it be that it only detects registration from Chronic Logic?? Please, some one help me out, I'm desperate to start making levels

Gish Editor / Registration for the editor??

Gish Support / Found ludicrous mode bug

You can turn on turbo mode by starting a new game in ludicrous mode and then, when you see the screen where it says lives and level and that, click Back. You'll still have it during the rest of the game until you quit. Couldn't you have skill points in levels? For example, in level 4-3, to kill 2 mummies by snapping the ropes for the platforms and in 4-4, to get through the 3 doors without putting boxes on the buttons. They could probably unlock stuff.
