5) You're afraid some supreme being decides to play Baseball with your car as you venture near anything that remotely looks like a bridge.

Contest one is almost over and I don't feel very sane right now.

You know you're a Pontifanatic if:

1) You're scared to death of crossing bridges because you can't turn "Analyze Stress" on.

17) (or whatever the heck the number is now)
You convulse uncontrollably at night, pissing off your spouse immensely, screaming that you need your PontiFix now!

General Discussion / Just to say I'm still alive =)
December 15, 2001, 10:50:55 AM
Yeah, pretty much what the topic says... I'm still alive and I'm bogged down with organisational work (Helping do logistics for a youth camp of 500 *AND* practising for a concert to be held on the last day of said camp isn't easy. Don't try it at home!), so I haven't been very active online.

I also won't be around for the next week or so. Thats when the camp is. =) Well, just thought I'd leave a note so you people don't think I contracted Herpes or some funky shit like that and passed away. Happy holidays, everyone!

PS. Don't start the second contest without me!

Heh. All the records you see on http://www.chroniclogic.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=4&topic=33" target="_blank">this page are completed on hard without any broken links, so I'd say they can all be done =)

Klei will probably be popping in shortly to tell you of his site where you can get images and/or pxb files for c08, so I'll leave that to him http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

General Discussion / Intentional collapse
November 19, 2001, 04:51:00 AM
Currently, the budget is counted by the length of the single bars in edit mode, and only are converted to the multiple links when the bridge is tested. Modifying the edit system to add the ability to remove sub-links will:

1) Make the files much larger
2) Screw most of the records/budgets
3) Make the game needlessly complex (though this one is open to debate)

Welcome aboard the bandwagon! I am falkon2, self proclaimed jester of the court. My insanely gh3y bridges never fail to bring a laugh to the poor Pontifex Secondius and Tertius (which are probably ripping out their hair asking me to stop)

What started out as a record-breaking design inexplicably took a right angle turn. Perhaps this should go into the Sculptures thread instead =)
