BCS General / Coupla' Questions
September 16, 2003, 12:51:45 AM
#1  BCS will continue to be supported after the release of Bridge It, we actually have some new ideas for bridge building games, that may be put into BCS or part of a new bridge building game.

#2  Because of the number of parties involved with Bridge It, it would be hard for us to work out a discount for the people who own BCS.  So there will not be a discount for Bridge It, however it will only cost $19.99, so its pretty cheap.

#3  We are always open to input for future ideas to update BCS.  Bridge It will mostly likely not be changed much after release however.

#4  Bridge It will be released Sept. 25th

Hope that helps http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Solutions / Hard Level 7

I actually connected both my suspension cables to the same point on my support tower and then braced that point to the rest of the tower.  Hope that helps.

BCS General / Pontifex II earthquakes
July 25, 2003, 07:09:39 PM
Make sure you are running v1.25 and then use any cheat  code or load any level/bridge and you will see quake on the top right side of the screen.  We are currently changing how earthquake will work, so look for a patch which will update them soon http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

BCS General / Pontifex II earthquakes
September 16, 2003, 12:55:32 AM
Are you using the earthquakes in V1.30?  They are even weaker then the ones in v1.25 where, they are also consistent, so if you bridge stands up to a level 1 once it will always survive.  Keeping as little mass as possible above the bridge seems to be the key to bridges lasting through earthquakes.

BCS General / Pontifex II earthquakes

We are thinking of changing the earthquakes, so they will produce the same result for a specific bridge everytime.  This would make it possible to use them as a scoring system (this bridge can withstand a level 3 earthquake).  Any feedback?

General Discussion / Faces...
November 24, 2003, 06:17:58 PM
When you are really involved in playing all you see are the colors.  If you try going back to a version with out the faces you really notice though.  We are actually working on a new graphics overhaul for Triptych

General Discussion / Version 1.10 changes?
May 29, 2003, 07:36:22 PM
Other then the new look, the score is one digit larger, another combo has been added, and the score counts faster when your bonus gets very high.  Also a couple of minor multi-tasking improvements were added.

I did the exact same thing, once you get used to the new look it really grows on you.

Miscellaneous / Gish
May 04, 2004, 08:07:05 AM
Yeah, the little parts of Gish (the different modes, all the menu screens, the scores, etc) took longer then we thought to get together, we are just finishing them up now and it will be finished soon.  Thanks for your patience.

New Game Ideas / Spider WEB
June 11, 2004, 08:02:04 PM
I have actual messed around with making spider type webs in BCS.  You can make some pretty cool looking web type structures with cables.
