Yes - I agree the problem is graphic driver related. I tried 4 different ones - 2 from NVidea and 2 from Leadtek - eventually I got one that worked (the NVidea ones gave me a thunkconnect32 error). Leadtek don't seem to acknowledge OpenGL - perhaps they are owned by Microsoft.

I may be being stupid (again) but why do so many of my bridge designs work fine on the first pass (no broken links), but fail on the second pass (complete collapse). The bridges are symmetrical as far as I can tell. What am I missing?  The only difference appears to be the direction of travel.

Apart from hard lvl 1 - all bridges can be made at less than hallf of the budget allowed - even in hard mode, and excluding the complex solutions. Are we getting better or are chroniclogic playing safe?

That is true.

I actually am not that bothered by the slipped release as much as I am bothered by not hearing about it, no email, no nothin.  

I guess the core of my dissapointment is based in my excitement to play the game.  When I get excited about something new, it is dissapointing to have the rug pulled out from under us the last minute...

Well, the Map Pack 1 levels 15 & 16 have very long spans, you can check the bridges on http://pontifex.phantomtech.info" target="_blank">DWN's site.
Even longer ones should be possible, though.
