I recently started playing with GL. Looks very well-thought. I found the redbook most helpful in getting me started. It just tells you the truth, doesn't hide anything, and doesn't require you to go through it in a specific order.
Tell me if you have any hints, especially if you know border texels. For me the border COLOR shows up instead. Maybe we can exchange information in the future.
