Ok, this is the only level that has me stumped. My bridge is good and strong, no broken links, and is constant gradient all the way. The train stops about 3/4 of the way up the bridge and proceeds to roll backwards. Why is it so? Also, for those who have beaten this level, how did you make your train reach the end?

I had the same problems on my system. I've downloaded the newest version and it finally worked with my construction :-)
the train nearly comes to a stop but finally it will reach the top (well, you have to be really patient till the train reaches the top).
i think i've seen this in the forum a while back
it might be because you're on easy level, and on hard, the train weighs 4 times as much but has a lot more power
i haven't tried it myself so i can't guarantee that's the problem, but i hope it helps
