Title: Observer Mode
Post by: Clodd on May 05, 2009, 10:49:57 PM
Hey, great game you guys made here.

As a newcomer  I was curious as to the strategies people had come up with, and wanted to watch people play some games against each other. However, there is no way to observe a game except through awkwardly doing a 2v2 or coop.

If players don't want to reveal their strategies I think a simple "no observers" checkbox from either of the contestants would be fine.

Just something that I think would be cool to have sometime in the future.

I love this idea. I've wished there was something like that for quite a while. I know several online chess sites that do this. Not only does it help out beginners get an idea of how to play, it also gives people something to do when there's only a few people on playing eachother. It could also eventually lead to a way to do tournaments. I hope we see something like this in the near future.

It would be a perfect thing to do while waiting for a game.

Let me be the first to EXTRA-LIKE this idea.  If I could edit my army in the background, why then I'd extra-like it with sugar on top.
