To provide a nicer user experience I think a few changes are needed:
In the player list window, display (somehow) what the player is doing, you currently list when they are in the lobby and when they are in a game, but you need to show when they are looking for a game, and what type.
Display in the main chat when someone stops looking for a game
Display in the main chat when a game starts (and with what players)
Good points, some of these are already planned for an update!
Following along Crucio's line of thought, here are a few more thoughts for some relatively minor user experience upgrades:
-Auto-fill for user name and password upon launching the application
-Increased chat options, including the ability to go "offline" and not receive "personal IMs." Otherwise, one can appear rude for not responding while he/she's working on editing an army, or away from the computer!
Thanks, Chronic Logic guys and gals, for listening, and for a great game; it's an example of elegant design. I've enjoyed playing it.
I agree that the chat options need to be increased, it is on the todo list :)
