Title: i know the secret game mode code!
Post by: budgiedood on June 30, 2004, 08:39:28 AM
I am willing to trade the secret game mode code (the hint is not in the game yet, but the mode is) for a warp zone that is not pitfall/mario/sataan or the ghost one.
The secret mode is turbo and it makes everything go faster (including vs mode)

thx
oli

thanks!
sure,it would be a lot more convenient to have a toggle system.
its annoying to have to quit gish and launch it again to try to activate the code if u missed

Ok, i got a new warp zone that people haven't posted about yet...it's in 1-4.

(wanna look yourself?  don't go below...)

Right as the level starts, hold slick and left.  You should slide under the pillar that drops (hit hard and stay slick to get "squeezed" out).  Then fall, fall, fall.

The only way to see if it is applied is to start a level.... a turbo graphic will be in the upper left corner.

Haven't you noticed "Turbo Edition 1.1" or so in the main menu? :)

I think probably all have been found. How about you share the code.

You have to type it between the loading screen and the main menu. That's not very long, but long enough for ^^vv<><>a .

Found another way.

Complete the game on 'hard', and start a new one on 'ludicrous'. But that doesn't include any additional lives.

Put in the code during the "chronic logic presents" screen.

If you have changed your controls, the last two buttons in the code are jump and sticky.

You don't need to use the joystick.

The only way to see if it is applied is to start a level.... a turbo graphic will be in the upper left corner.

I wish we could just have turbo as a standard toggle instead of a code.  Codes work better for console games (even though Gish is trying to have the feel of a console game)
