Fanatic is definately #1 or #2, but the rider is far more crucial as one of the only units that can take out magicians and changlings.   Without having long range, most armies are useless (witch, wizard, warlock, necromancer, etc).

Skin walker is definately very powerful too, but again this thead is asking the most useful, not what is the best $50 unit vs other $50.

marketplace is a great idea if players want to trade and skip the frustrating "let me get a random unit" option.  But, the marketplace also needs to offer other things not currently in the game that are 1K (and don't have an effect on game: different music, unlockables, etc)

#1.   Mimic/skinwalker.  If Mimic mimics a templar, then turns industructable, that same piece on the board becomes 2 pieces.

#2. Doppleganger.  DOPPLEGANGER BECOMES UNIT IT ATTACKS!!!! it says no where on the description it does this.  To make matters worse, it then gets free movements of the unit it becomes.  What a cheat.

Ok, so I'm on level 100+ of the computer AI, and to me it seems next to impossable to defeat the computer without any of the 3 main cards:

- Priest
- Dracolith
- Changling

I've tried almost everything and sure you might get lucky every other game or the only other option is playing a 2-3 hour game against the AI (not fun).  Can anyone else ring in here, this seems really lame and unfair.

I like the AI, dont get me wrong, but single player mode SHOULD NOT be treated like it is in COOP mode.  It's just not fun playing single player mode! please fix something http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

It amazes me, how many scenarios, I really don't know what will happen if I didnt have a trainer. I'm sure if I read and studied the text, it might make sense, but this:

Lich vs monster being protected by a shield bearer.  I would have thought that the monster would be killed by lich, but instead the shield bearer stoped it.  This is in contrast to the witch which will obviously give -2 max hp.

Try to imagine for a second a new player understanding that if a veteran can't. heh.

I can't reiterate enough: this game needs a trainer/dummy mode.

New players need to understand how each piece attacks, moves, range and howspecial abilities work.  The trainer mode simply only lets you pick 1 unit at a time at a time and maybe shows how damage was assessed (power-defense).  This sounds obvious to any veteran, but to someone new they tend not to like to read.  It's really an unfair to have to regester this game just to understand how every piece works.  This would not exploit the non-demo units, but instead, it would help turn more players demo.

1. If your demo and your opponent is using a wizard deck, there is almost no way you can win if both opponents play perfect.

2. If you want Zatikon to survive, the game can't revolve around you have X unit, means I must have Y unit or I lose.  That's a bad dynamic.  Wizard is just too powerful with flying units not costing actions.

This wondderful piece has been ruined by the 2x sergeant - 10+ Scout deck which is virtually impossable to defeat unless you know it's coming.  Hands down this is the #1 cheesiest deck out there.

CHANGE SUGGESTIONS:
- 2 ACTIONS, all units move once for free.  (costs 1-2 actions to rally again)

or

- Everything the same, but no piece can attack when rallying.

Is it possable for Zatikon to have roll-over text options that explain what each category is the on main part of Zatikon.  This is the 2nd time I've played a new opponent who didn't know that constructed meant it was a vs. mode.

The other two graphical solutions are putting hyperlink's below each button to click to see what it does.  Then, the 3rd option is to just have a permant hyperlink that explains what all the categories are.  Just some food for thought as players tend not to read forums/website. heh.

Awesome upgrades, can't wait! I would love to see the ballista and catapult upgraded.  Maybe ballista + 1 range and catapult that can't be dodged?
