General Discussion / Ridiculous levels...
March 23, 2002, 03:53:29 AM
IMO there are enough 'realistic' levels in the full version of Pontifex, after all, it has 48 levels, and only a small amount of them are 'weird'. Also check out the custom levels made by fans (look in the 'New Levels' forum).
I think there's nothing wrong with having some variety...

P.S. There's a topic about floating anchor points http://www.chroniclogic.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=3&topic=22" target="_blank">here.

General Discussion / Questions

Short answer: RTFM http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Detailed answer:

1. There is a way to use them, of course. In complex mode, use the R and F keys to move forward and back.

2. Not sure what you mean, I'm pretty certain the steel beams always look the same. Take a closer look at the shots, it must be multiple beams or something similar that you were looking at.

3. Use the F8 key.

General Discussion / Map Pack 1? Where to get it?

You don't have to load those levels one by one, just 'Start Game' and then 'Map Pack'.

General Discussion / Second Contest!
February 25, 2002, 10:18:53 PM
Hmmm... Now Calis is Tertius... CL - I thought a Pontifex Maximus stays Maximus forever - the contest page said he gets a permanent place in the Hall of Fame - so why no permanent forum title?

General Discussion / Second Contest!

@Oggy: Could you send me your bridge so I can put it on my page? I'm planning on uploading the top 3 bridges from both contests.

CL, why not make the prize winners' bridges downloadable?

I corrected that, thanks for pointing it out. I agree that an e-mail would be more appropriate ;)

2) You keep saying 'That one is real ugly' or 'I could of built that one much cheaper' when looking at bridges.
3) You're afraid of travelling by train since you could pass a badly designed bridge on the way.
4) You keep looking for floating anchor points to hang your clothes.

19) You wonder why bungee cords don't turn blue when stretched.
20) You pray to the Pontifex God every time you are about to cross a bridge (you know, the G key... http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> )

General Discussion / I'm really disappointed.
January 29, 2002, 05:00:16 PM
I agree with Frish (though we don't really know what the problem is). But nevertheless, another contest would somewhat resurrect the community IMO and it's not THAT much work... Maybe I should do one myself... Hmmm... anyone like the idea? I can't provide prizes as gigantic as CL's (Eternal life), but ####, I even got a forum where I can assign member titles ;)

I could send it to you in an e-mail if I knew your address...

You can. Click on Complex mode, then move forward/backward with the R and F keys.
