Title: My best collection times
Post by: Jonathan_NL on January 18, 2005, 08:37:32 PM
I wrote a little program to upload the best times in gish.his in human-readable form every hour. Not that I say my times are the best in the universe, but here they are!

Hehe, that's pretty cool :)
What did you program it in, Java?

The program itself is written in C, I used a shell script to pipe the output to curl for uploading (didn't yet try the curl functions), and cron for running it hourly. :p

Btw, do you have any better times?

Probably not, I hardly play Collection mode :p
I should start on that mode once...

I just beat one level with 2.16 secs faster, but you won't see it next hour because Gish only writes gish.his when it exits. I already requested writing gish.his whenever a time changes and Josiah replied he was thinking about it.

I beat it by another little bit and restarted Gish so the time will be uploaded after one minute...

OK, an edit: I keep beating times... one is about 3.3 secs faster!
