This is a problem with the intereaction of your motherboard chipset, the graphics card in question, and win2k. I actually have the same problem. There are patches from MS that let you play longer, but you still eventually crash. Evidentially MS got the timing all wrong on the agp port with VIA chipsets and the problem is extremely evident with the Geforce 2.<p>The absolute fix is windows XP unfortunately. Buy it when it comes out, MS seems to have gotten it right this time. I use xp with a TNT2 card at work and detonator XP drivers and it really really sucks (like 5 frames a second or something bad like that). At home on a machine of the same speed but with a Geforce 2 also running xp and the detnator XP drivers I run absolutely fabulous. I guess its good that the game doesn't work on my work computer or I'd never get anything useful done.

Remember that a long cable has to support its own weight as well as the weight of the object its carrying. Its probably not totally a bug that the cable breaks. The bug with the box exploding though isn't nice.
