Or maybe a way to braid or string multiple cables in the same direction. After all, the giant cables on bridges are made from many smaller ones!
concrete, composite materials, brick, wood. Oh, and some actual information on the materials would be nice (i.e. stress and strain limits, join strengths, etc..) for us hardcore wannabe engineers :-D
I think it'd be awfully nice to have some stronger, heavier cable - then perhaps we could make those Golden Gate bridges people have been talking about.
