Gish

Sorry I cannot help you with illegitimate versions of Gish.  There is no excuse for not purchase a real copy of Gish as you can pick your own price for the DRM free version which you can download from our website.  Then you will not have this problem:

Where did you download version 1.6.1 from?  Can you send a screenshot of the missing texture to me?

I just checked the Windows version of Gish and could not find a problem.  Are you running Gish v1.6.1?  What OS version are you using?

The Humble Indie Bundle and the Chronic Logic version of Gish have both been updated so they are now the same.  They should both show version 1.6.1 now.

Interesting, can the players also do this?

As part of the new ranking system we have added to Zatikon all the ratings have been reset, the previous ratings along with detailed information about them can be viewed here:

The new system is an Elo based system similar to what Chess uses.  This should provide for a more balanced ranking system.  We are also considering some kind of monthly ratings and depending on how much interest we get some possible prizes for the monthly winners as well.

The new system will be similar to chess, your point total and overall rank will be displayed.  We are just doing some final testing on it before we save all the current ranks and then add the new system and reset the ranks.  The old ranks will be posted here or on the web page.

Having them decay after a few rounds is probably a good idea.

At the end of the month the current ranks will be recorded and then a new system will be added and the ranks will be reset.  We are thinking about having monthly ratings as suggested.  For now there won't be a separate rank for constructed and random but its possible for a future month.
