Wouldn't be that hard to implement, surely? I'm not much of a programmer, but wouldn't you just have to check if the train was between the two 'normal' z-planes, and only apply centering if it was? Or would you want it turned off on, say, the ordinary grass texture?
That, and Direct3D isn't portable to any other OS. So if CL wants to make a Mac version and a Linux version, OpenGL is the (only) way to go.
As it turns out, cheap02 has the same supports as demo02, with a little more room in the river and another water level, so any demo02 clean record immediately transfers to this.

I am in no way affiliated with ChronicLogic.
If CL decides to start their own mailing list,
I will report that to you as well.

Possible Uses:
a) Pontifex Screensaver. Place two opposite ramps onlevel, green line in between, and the train goes back and forth, maybe with a bridge placed in between?
b) Train winds around a cliff face. A level designer could place a cliff that extends forward; the centering force will make the train hug the cliff, but the player's bridge might have to support it :-)
c) Be creative!
