BCS General / Pontifex Records Website Updated
October 20, 2002, 03:40:19 PM
Well, http://pontifex.phantomtech.info/RecordDetails.asp" target="_blank">http://pontifex.phantomtech.info/RecordDetails.asp has it all. Membership is granted if you are a user here. But it's "unofficial". Maybe we could make CL host it. With DarkWolf9 as moderator of course. Then he don't have to create users either.

About this forum, I believe CL is busy sending CD's and creating the Pontifex II addition to their website. But we might push'em to create a room. It should only take a minute or so to create.

At 5:30am this morning I thought lets go to bed. :) I thought I could do that since I've taken 10 records. :) But when I woke up Plass has been busy modding my easy-level designs. #"¤%£@$£@$"%¤#
:) Still got my medium-levels.

BTW: Pardon my french.

BCS General / Suspension bridge
October 21, 2002, 03:58:03 AM
First of all the suspension cable should of course is usually laid with as large a curve above the deck as possible. It must of course has very strong anchor points. And the pillars must also be strong enough to carry the load pushed down on them.

What part of the bridge is breaking first?

Yeah, I've noticed that too. The outer suspension cables should be as curved as possible. When I curve a suspension cable I pull down in the exact horizontal center of the curve from anchor point to anchor point.
Also building high pillars seldomly helps.

BCS General / Cars falling through deck.
October 19, 2002, 11:00:09 AM
If a car go over a bumpy bridge and hit the deck hard, then the rear end of the car fall through the deck and eventually pulling the rest of the car through it.

And another thing is that the cars bounce a lot. They are more like radiocontrolled toy cars. Give them a little more jelly suspension.
