Isn't the original poster's problem that a heavy beam has disappeared between the drawing board and the test bridge? Where did it go? Looks problematic.

I tried the same thing, and had the same problem. I'm still working on that level, and putting a span there would be very useful. I wish I could offer some help, but I will tell you my solution when I get it done. By the way, your english is perfect!

I made a A shaped structure, starting from the two anchors in the water, tilted towards the deck, so that the top of it comes right above the center of the deck, then anchored it with cables from the single far anchor in the water. Dropped cables from the top of the A and made a single height A support at each end of the bridge. Holds fine.. I don't have hosting for a screenshot, but if anyone wants, i'll email them the bridge file and you're more than welcome to post a screenshot of it.

my solution to that level was pretty unorthadox.. after trying the cable-stayed way you're doing several times, I ended up just ignoring all 3 mid-span supports.

Instead, I built a huge steel arch bridge, with 3 layers : an arched roadway on the bottom (arched up about 2 or 3 span-lengths), then two light steel layers, all interlinked with triangles.

0 broken links on hard.. expensive, but came in about 4,000 below budget.
