Sorry about getting your name wrong http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
i'll upload my bridges as soon as you'll have the feature enabled.
About the easy and medium difficulty, personally, i wouldn't even bother..

Also, i have another suggestion.
How many of ther ecord holders would be willing to share their record bridges? That way we can verify that all records comply to the rules, and they'll probably get better tested too.
The only drawback to this that i can see is people not wanting to share their techniques so that they can use them in contests.
I think someone (DarkWing, i think) has a site with a records page. We could have links there to the briges, to download.

So who'se in charge of making this ruleset up? Should we decide it amongst ourselvs or just use the contest rules?

I remember reading the clean rules on www.bridgebuildergame.com and the not crossing links wasn't there..
But then, if the contest rules apply, the cheaper version of 102 is legit, because ti works with TT and if you let it settle. It's only some misterious timing that makes it break (i still haven't been able to get it to break, Gray)

I didn't know these had to confirm to the contest rules.
Some of my bridges have some decks reinvorced with a cable cross.
But not 105

hey DarkWolfNine, when will we be able to upload bridges to your site?
I have the feeling Gray will discover that about half my records break with some obscure timing or are illegal for some reason..

i can't wait! *sarcasm* http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I can't get it to break, but i'll believe you, since you seem to have this annoying knack to destroy my records http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

And yeah, i figured that you would have thought about moving it up one, but i wanted to break your record so bad that i ignored that rational thought

Well, i just hope you don't beat my 105

you're evil http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

yeah, 106 is clean.
it's a really unorthodox design, moves around a lot and comes close to braking, but lasts. i can make it much more stable with a little money, but why? http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

excuse me know, i need to go beat your 102

Records and Hints / official Map pack1 level 6

I made an arch out of heavy steel of single thickness, going from each anchor point, and suspended 2 slabs of deck from it, the first one at train height (i mean the first one that the train hits), and the second one going up just one unit (on high detail). 0 broken links and fairly smooth.
I have a jpg of it, if you want me to email it, give me a shout at mailto:alcorrr@icqmail.com">alcorrr@icqmail.com

Records and Hints / Complex Level 16

i think i've seen this in the forum a while back

it might be because you're on easy level, and on hard, the train weighs 4 times as much but has a lot more power
i haven't tried it myself so i can't guarantee that's the problem, but i hope it helps

General Discussion / Map Pack 1
October 14, 2001, 08:48:33 PM
Level 5 was one of the most challenging ones, and the solution i found is definitely my favourite of the MapPack 1.

I got it at 47848$. It gets well stressed, but it survives with 0 broken links. I can make it a lot more solid at 49768$.

If anyone wants the bridge file, i can email it to you, send me a msg at alcorrr@icqmail.com.
I don't have any hosting right now, but i ordered internet through cable and i think that comes with some web space, so i'll put all my solutions up in a week or two.
