I wonder why Pontifex don't have a minimize boutton. When ever I like to switch ower to another program, like the explorer, or if I like to take a look to one this forums (to find a hint to a problem I might have), I need to quit the game and restart it after.

What I miss in pontifex is some kind of a pivot link part. A pivot link between two decks of a hanging bridge wold make it behave more realistic. You would have the joyce if two beams have to be bound together rigid (like it is now) or labil. (Is that english?). I loved this in BB. So weird mechanical bridges would be possible, like my solution for BB mappack 9, level 15. (see BB records).
I guess Grey knows what I mean.

I agree to Pontifex Terzius. As I mentioned allredy, some mechanical elements would be interesting. As is is in the Bridgebuilder, where we made some very nice moving bridges like the legendary original level 15 (oh my god). For those who  haven't seen it yet, go to the roots of Pontifex (http://bridgebilder-game.com/). I think since Pontifex is out, I haven't been there anymore. Shame on me!

Thanks to Mendel for the correction. When they were teaching me typwriting in school, I had a place next to the window and beside the building there was a big railway bridge. :biggrin:
Thats why I have to write now by "Hamas" system (You know, two attacks a week).

Inspired by this tower problem I made my own trials. After several tests I found at least one tower constuction, that behaves nearly like in reality, when it collapses. It destoys itself completly and the biggest remains are only some 1x1 cubes. More than 90 % of the material disappears. If anybody could tell me, how to make a screenshot in pontifex and how to get it posted, I would do it.

Okay, I made some tests on this " boxlets".
Result: it don't work. :o
If you create any kind of steel structure and then you erase all the lines between the dots, they really cost nothing but they are also not visible anymore in test mode and so they don't break. ;)
But if you bilt just two dots with the shortest possible line between them, then you see tree small boxes connected together in test mode and the cost is 250$.
