Title: Complex Level 10
Post by: DrgnFyre on November 02, 2001, 07:20:09 AM
Any pointers on how to best build this bridge?  I tend to use the 'triangle spam' method others have talked about, but have had limited success.. I also tried a straight suspension bridge from those handy anchors, but the middle falls out. :(

I tried the solution shown over at http://www.pontifex.cjb.net , but that falls apart on me too.. :(

Note: I'm using the hard setting - maybe that's why someone else's solution isn't working for me.

As a general rule, when there are anchors above the bridge away from the banks, triangle spam isn't the best method.. triangle spam is only strongest when the only anchors are at the banks.

For this bridge I just connected a level deck to the anchors with lots of cable. I supported the center by sorta 'crossing' cables and hangong off that.

Ok, that helped.. just didn't have enough 'cross cables' I guess.. got it now, though.

thanks! :)
